Tessa Hart is a London-based theatre activist. She is the Producing Artistic Director of the Goblin Baby Theatre Co., an activist theatre collective not afraid to address taboos and set out to challenge the confines of conventional theatre. She is also a co-founder of the Bread & Roses Theatre Company (BRTC), which focusses on producing new and contemporary writing. Furthermore, Tessa actively supports V-Day and One Billion Rising UK, a global movement and campaign to end violence against women and girls, through theatre performances and other activities. Most recently she has also become an associate director of Little Pieces of Gold, a theatre company set out to discover, nurture and develop new contemporary work from emerging UK writers.
Tessa holds an MFA in Acting (International) from East 15 Acting School (2011) and a BA in Theatre Studies from the Free University of Berlin (2009). She has completed further performing arts work and training in Bali, London, Berlin, Brussels and Moscow and is fluent, as well as having worked, in English, German and French.
